Microsoft has released Windows Live Messenger for the iPhone and iPod touch, bringing an integrated environment for accessing the company' social services. The free application also offers users integrated access to their Hotmail accounts with the ability to read, reply, and compose directly in the application.

Chat:
Instant message with your Windows Live Messenger and Y! Messenger contacts on the go so you're always connected to the people that matter most. You can even receive IM notifications when your app is closed so you never miss a message.

Social:
Windows Live Messenger gives you one place to view the updates your Messenger friends are sharing from social networks like Facebook, Flickr, MySpace and more, helping you cut through the clutter on the go.

Photos:
Upload photos right from your phone to share your favorite moments with the people that matter most. Create albums, add captions, and let your friends and family comment on your photos.

Hotmail:
Access your Hotmail account without leaving the app to read, reply to, and compose emails. Get email notifications within the application so you know when you have new messages.

Yesterday Apple and its carrier partners took pre-orders for more than 600,000 of Apple's new iPhone 4. It was the largest number of pre-orders Apple has ever taken in a single day and was far higher than we anticipated, resulting in many order and approval system malfunctions. Many customers were turned away or abandoned the process in frustration. We apologize to everyone who encountered difficulties, and hope that they will try again or visit an Apple or carrier store once the iPhone 4 is in stock.

What's new
- Front-facing video chat camera
- Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
- Camera flash
- Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
- Improved display. It's unclear if it's the 960x460 display thrown around before -- it certainly looks like it, with the "Connect to iTunes" screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
- What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
- Split buttons for volume
- Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic

Other changes observed in the device compared to the current iPhone include a glass or shiny plastic back, 16% larger battery, and a slightly smaller but apparently higher resolution screen.

toimii vaan jos on kauittimena tai handsfree kuulokkeet, niin kuulen kun mulle puhutaan takas lol wtf... eilen toimi viel ihan normisti : D

iskä tuli kotii ja sanoss et hänell on meill jtn! olin et saiks sä ne uudet Nokian läppäri ilmatteks?? ja ei se ihan sitä ollu mut me saatiin BlackBerry Storn 9500 ja semmoset 300€ Nokian kuulokkeet vuokrattu Nokiast pariks viikoks<3 meijän piti pikkuveljen kaa käyttää molemat viikoks mut sit me sovittiin et jos me vaihdetaan vaan pv:ks ^^

mut ohh~ ku se oli ekaks ihana ku olin et jee saan tänne musa ja netti nii ei tartte raahata iPodia mukaan... mut eeiihh tietty ku tossa sitä netti pitää OSTA!! toss ei oo Wi-Fi niiku iTouchis (ja mä luulin et siin on) ja sit aamul mä yritin laittaa sinne musa mut ei se menny! V***U!! nyt se on vaan känny. sit se näppäimistö on aika ärsyttävä! ja ja aika hidas! mä en oikee taju sitä mut katotaan muutama pvn pääst... luulen et haluun vaihta jo viikon pääst :/

nii sit yöll vaik kui pal mä yritin saada unta nii eiih! silmät vaa liimautuss kii mut aivot oli ihan piirtee!! O_o en saannu ku varmaa 3h unta u___u' sit iskä sanoss et mä ajaan mut en vituss!! nukahdin sinne autoon ja iskän piti oikee huuta herätäksen mut... sit tunnit meni ihan hyvii ja sit klo tuli 9.50... jänniti niiin hiton pal ku mull oli se tutor haastattelu ja huoh ku se meni ihan ok..... tai no en oikee tiie mite se meni.... jänniti nii jirveest etten tienny mitä sanoo >____< blääh... sit meill oli vaa puol tunti YH ja sit muut lähti kirkkoon ja ope kertos mull et mun ei tartte jäädä kouluun jos mull ei oo enää tuntei ku koulu lp kirkon jälkee ja et oppilaat ei tiie sitä viel (yllätys heill :D) nii sit tulin kotii ja nyt nukkuu ---->

ainii faija varass meill iPhone, Wii PS3 ja kaikkee muuta viel Nokiast<3
