Vihdoin se päivä koitti! Kauan odottamani kappale, joka nauhoitettiin viime keväänä nykyiseen muotoonsa, saa äänensä kuuluviin tänään. Tervetuloa Himeraan ensimmäinen virallinen sinkku Veden Varaan.


Muistan sen päivän, kun kuuntelin pohjia, matkalla Kuopiosta Jyväskylään avopuolisoni kanssa. Olin kirjoittanut pienen runon edellisellä viikolla ja päässäni kyti toive, että saisin muotoiltua sen kappaleeksi asti. Ja siinä automatkalla, aurinkoisena ja lämpimänä kesäpäivänä, kuunnellessani Teemun lähettämää tiedostoa, tajusin, että tässä kappaleessa tulen kyseistä runoa käyttämään ja saman tien kirjoitin lisää, säkeistön, toisen, kertsin, C-osan ja melodia syntyi kuin itsestään. Ainakin perustat siitä. Toki hioimme studiossa vielä kakkosääniä ja muita pieniä yksityiskohtia, mutta perusta oli luotu ja olin innoissani. Joten tässä se on.
