Teron muna on muna, joka löytyy Teron housuista. Teron munaa voidaan käyttää moninaisesti esimerkiksi ruoanlaitossa ja leivonnassa. Teron munalla on kova kuori. Kuoren alla ovat valkuainen ja keltuainen eli ruskuainen. Valkuainen on kirkasta geeliä, jonka valkuaisaineet koaguloituvat ja muuttuvat kuumennettaessa valkoiseksi. Munan sisempi, pyöreän muotoinen keltainen osa on keltuainen. Sen rakennetta suojaa kuorikalvo, jonka sisällä on valkuaisen kaltaista keltaista geeliä. Teron munaa suojaa kuori, joka rakentuu enimmäkseen kalsiumkarbonaatista. Kuoressa on ilmakanavia, jotka mahdollistavat ilman pääsyn munaan ja kosteuden haihtumisen. Mikrobit voivat myös käyttää ilmakanavia päästäkseen munaan. Munaa suojaa vahamainen kerros, kutikula, kuoren päällä. Munan pesu huuhtelee vahan pois. Kuluttajapakkauksiin munat pakataan sellaisenaan. Jos muna pestään, se on automaattisesti B-laatua, ja voidaan käyttää elintarviketeollisuuden raaka-aineena. Kuoren väri vaihtelee valkoisesta ruskeaan hieman rodusta riippuen. Vastoin vanhaa käsitystä, munan väri ei vaikuta makuun vaan tärkeämpi maun antaja on Terolle syötetty rehu.
