Internship Announcement
The Baltic Sea Secretariat for Youth Affairs in Kiel offers a 6-8 weeks
internship starting September 2009. The position involves assistance of
activities in the area of youth-policy co-operation and youth exchange in the
Baltic Sea region, providing other actors with information and organizational
support, and taking care of contacts with the EU and with Baltic Sea and other
regional structures.

Who you are?
You should be interested in international youth policy and motivated to work
efficiently in a small team. Very good knowledge of the English language as
well as some German knowledge is important. In best case you have already some
experience in international youth work and policy.

What we offer
You will get first hand information and experience about activities and
cooperation within Baltic Sea states, as well as knowledge on project
management, administration and marketing. According to your interests and
skills you will be directly involved in all activities and planning processes.
Furthermore you have the opportunity to participate in a bilateral study tour
and in the preparation and implementation of a youth exchange program under the
framework of the European "Youth in Action" program.

We will cover your housing for the period of the internship providing a single
room in a student apartment close to the office, where you will meet many other
students from the University of Kiel. In addition you receive 300 Euro monthly
allowance and we will cover your travel expenses to and from Kiel (max. 200
Euro).
