Nasa: Asteroidi ohittaa Maan hyvin läheltä 8.11.2011Sunnuntai 10.04.2011 22:06


Avaruushallinto Nasan mukaan isohko asteroidi 2005 YU55 ohittaa Maan läheltä 8. marraskuuta 2011.

Nasan mukaan ohituksen pitäisi näkyä hyvin Maahan. Asteroidin halkaisija on noin 400 metriä. Asteroidi käy lähimmillään Maata 0,85 Kuun etäisyyden päässä.

Nasan mukaan kyseessä on lähin koskaan näin suuren asteroidin ohitus, josta tiedetään etukäteen. Vastaavaa tapahtumaa ei Nasan mukaan nähdä ennen vuotta 2028.

2005 YU55 ei kuitenkaan Nasan mukaan uhkaa törmätä Maahan ainakaan sataan vuoteen. Asteroidi on kuitenkin luokiteltu mahdollisesti vaaralliseksi maapallolle.

Älkää ny ainakaan ryypätkö tommosen spektaakkelin ohi! Nää on aika saatanan hienoi ja harvoi tapahtumii!
