It was winter and it was a dark and cold night. I was crying in a park. There werenÂ’t any noises. Not even cars passing by. Nothing. Just wind.
Suddenly I heard footsteps coming. I tried to hide because I didnÂ’t want anyone to see me. But I noticed I couldnÂ’t move. I was so cold and my body was weak. DonÂ’t know how long I had sat there.
Then I saw you. Quickly I just turned my face away so you couldnÂ’t see my face. I heard you calling my name. I didnÂ’t answer. I felt like I couldnÂ’t speak anymore.
“I have been looking all over for you!” I heard you saying. I didn’t answer. I heard you coming closer. Suddenly you just grabbed me and raised my head to you. I saw that you were crying. I was crying too. “Who did this to you?” You put your hand on my cheek. There were scratches everywhere. “Was it… Those boys again?” You said. I nodded. You started to look a bit angry. “I will make sure those boys will pay.” You stood up and looked like you’re going to leave. I paniced and grabbed your coat. “W-wait...” I mumbled. “Don’t… go…” You just looked at me for a while. “Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere.” You sat beside me. There was a quiet moment until you suddenly hugged me. Then I felt it. The warmness. “Umm.. W-why are you helping me? No one does ever help me…” I said shyly.
I felt your warm breath on my ears. “Because… I love you.”
Then I just stopped thinking.
You pushed your lips on mine.
It was soft and warm. I was filled inside with that warmness.
Your lips were gone. You looked down. “I’m sorry…” You said quietly.
I didn’t think what I did, I just did. I grabbed you close to me again and kissed you. I felt my heart beating fast. I wasn’t cold anymore. You warmed me up. I hugged you tightly. “Why are you saying sorry? I…” I couldn’t say the rest. It just didn’t come out. I gathered my strength and whispered.
“I… I love you too.”
