"The Obama and McCain campaigns have agreed to an unusual free-flowing format for the three televised presidential debates, which begin on Friday, but the McCain camp fought for and won a much more structured approach for the questioning at the vice-presidential debate, advisers to both campaigns said Saturday.

At the insistence of the McCain campaign, the Oct. 2 debate between the Republican nominee for vice president, Gov. Sarah Palin, and her Democratic rival, Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., will have shorter question-and-answer segments than those for the presidential nominees, the advisers said. There will also be much less opportunity for free-wheeling, direct exchanges between the running mates.

McCain advisers said they had been concerned that a loose format could leave Ms. Palin, a relatively inexperienced debater, at a disadvantage and largely on the defensive."

yo, I woke up and felt an unexplainable and very urgent need to listen to classical concertos. (weird y/n/mfy/holy crap you're crazy?) so now I've been playing Bach and Beethoven on repeat on my iTunes for the past two hours, and i'm loving it. ♥

in other news, I had a dream where I was in England, and was stood in a Boots buying hair balsam when suddenly these guys ran in and took all the customers hostage. and then we weren't in the Boots anymore, but in some hugeass castle, and the kidnappers wanted to shoot everyone but they couldn't because the old lady that owned the castle wouldn't let them. she didn't want blood on her carpets. and all this time, i was huddled up in a corner of the castle and planning on what to write in my LJ entry. (my life as a LJ addict, let me show you it.) but I couldn't, because I had no internet, and then suddenly all the kidnappers were gone and someone was like "okay, let's go, what are we hanging out here for?" and out we went, and I got my hair balsam, and when I went into a internet cafe some random guy ran into me and told me that Gabe Saporta had died.

YEAH, SERIOUSLY. I WAS LIKE WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? he told me CObra had performed for some merpeople or whatever, and Gabe had tripped on his mic cord and fallen into the water, and the merpeople didn't like that he dated William so they let him drown. o___O and the Cobras were all "uh?" and let Ryland sing the rest of the songs, and then they went home. and I was all "uh okay time to wake up" and then I woke up and started the computer and checked that Gabe's still alive. yup, alive, kicking and being very gay, as far as I can see, so it's all good. <3
