Maailma ei ole koskaan sitä, miltä se näyttää ulospäin. Minä tiedän sen. Olen hullun armoilla. Olen mielipidevanki Suomessa vuonna 2013. Minut on pakotettu kuuntelemaan ei-ihQua musiikkia. En tiedä, kuunteleeko kukaan tuota kappaletta koskaan. Tuskin. Toivon silti, että joku kuuntelisi. Haluan tehdä selväksi, ettei se ole sitä, mitä siitä on väitetty. Olen täysin normaali, täysissä järjissäni oleva ihminen. Olen Tarja Sievinen, 23-vuotias dj Kuusmäeltä, ja tämä on minun tunnustukseni ja näkemykseni siitä, mikä biisi oli ihQutus joulukuussa 2013.

Joulukuun 2013 ihQuinta musiikkia on Calvin Harris, Alesso ja Hurts yhteistyöllään Under Control. Under Control on teknisesti erinomainen tanssikappale. Vuosi 2013 on ollut skotlantilais-dj Calvin Harrisin vuosi – hänen tuotantonsa on soinut ahkerasti niin suomalaisilla kuin kansainvälisilläkin tanssilattioilla. Jo muutama vuosi sitten I'm Not Alone -hitillään itsensä läpi lyöneellä Harrisilla on omanlainen soundimaailmansa, jota hän on vienyt viime aikoina yhä vain parempaan suuntaan. Vuoden aikana häneltä on kuultu ennakkoluulottomia musiikillisia kokeiluja esimerkiksi jordanialaislaulaja Ayah Mararin kanssa, ja duetto Ellieh Gouldingin kanssa on ollut menestys. Ehkä juuri ennakkoluulottomuus yhdistettynä laadukkaaseen tanssimusiikkiin on ollut Harrisin tie onnistumiseen. Tätä samaa ennakkoluulottomuutta edustaa myös yhteistyö Hurts-yhtyeen kanssa.

Nii ja viikon päästä joku LEVY! adfagadfs

A band formed by Adam Anderson and Theo Hutchcraft is performing in Finland already for the fifth time on Saturday evening. Men who released their debut album in 2010 are in love with Finland.

“Finland is one of those countries were we have succeeded the most after Germany and Great Britain. In Britain we have been playing in clubs for a hundred people and here in an ice hall for seven-thousand people.” Says Theo, who is referring to last years gig at sold out ice hall in Helsinki.

Theo can’t specify the reasons for their popularity but he is experiencing that they have made a connection with the Finns.

“It’s seems like our music has found it’s home here and it’s nice that we’re cared. We’ve gotten a lot of friends from here and it’s a very dear country to us.”

Theo and Adam arrived in Helsinki already on Wednesday so they had a chance to getting to know the city for few days in peace.

“Helsinki is one of the best cities for partying. We’ve had some awesome nights and great parties, but now we have a opportunity to look and walk around in the day time.”

The pop stars admired the city and they got to know Suomenlinna. (translator’s note: Direct translation: Castle of Finland, an island part of Helsinki).

According to Theo, the gig in Espoo is going to be awesome ‘cause it’s the last one they’ll do before returning to their homeland, England. There they will continue working on with their up-coming album.

Hurts is performing at Espoo’s Weekend Festival on Saturday.

Brittibändi Hurts esiintyy lauantaina Suomessa, mutta miehet ovat jo saapuneet maahamme hyvissä ajoin.
Weekend Festivalin järjestäjät kertovat, että Hurts-kaksikko saapui Suomeen jo aiemmin tällä viikolla. Oletettavaa on, että yhtye saapui Suomeen suoraan tiistaisen Liettuan keikkansa jälkeen eli eilen.
Fanien on siis mahdollista bongata Theo Hutchcraft tai Adam Anderson kiertelemässä Helsingissä. Festivaalijärjestäjät vihjailevat missä miehiin saattaa tänään illalla törmätä.
- Huhujen mukaan myös Hurts saattaa piipahtaa Weekend Festivalin etkoilla Fredan Tivolissa tänään, järjestäjät hehkuttavat tapahtuman Facebook-sivuilla.
Hurts esiintyy Weekend Festivalilla lauantai-iltana 18. elokuuta.
