Monkeys Are Machine Guns is a new band featuring Trevor Friedrich (Combichrist, Eighteen Visions) and Mick Kenney (Anaal Nathrakh). The line up is completed by Joe Letz (Combichrist) and Bobby Schubenski. The band will release their debut album, Bill Cosby’s Jello via FETO Records in June 2011.
Given that they site their influences as everything from bacon to candy to women, and that their press release claims that Mick’s dog recorded the album, you may well think that I am making this up. I’m not, I promise! They may have recorded their album incredibly swiftly, they may well be having fun, but this album is real (I’ve heard it guv’), and it will be released via FETO Records in June 2011.
