Olisi niitten pitänyt tehdä sitten vielä yksi biisi missä Aaronkin olisi ollut mukana. Kyllähän sitä silloin jo ajatteli, että bändi voi lopullisesti hajota. Jään kaipaamaan. Eikun jenkkeihin viimeiselle keikalle?

Intohimo on yksi tämän vuoden vappupläjäyksen mielenkiintoisimmista nuorista bändeistä ja onkin VG-tiimille suuri kunnia saada julkaista Intohimon haastattelu!

Haastattelija (H):
- Intohimo on buukattu esiintymään maailmanhistorian suurimmassa Vappugospelissa mm. Yhdysvaltalaisen Petran kanssa. Mitkä ovat päällimmäiset tunnelmat?

Bändi (B):
- Näin on, ja se on mahtavaa! Odotamme todella soittamista jäähallin lavalla ja aiomme pitää hauskaa. Yleisö tulee näkemään mielettömän shown!

H:
- Oletteko aiemmin soittaneet Suomessa?

B:
- Kyllä, kahdesti. Syksyllä 2007 teimme pienen kiertueen Starlightnine-yhtyeen (joka ei valitettavasti enää ole kasassa) kanssa. Soitimme myös kerran kesällä 2009.

H:
-Miten kauan olette soittaneet yhdessä? Miten Intohimo sai alkunsa?

B:
- Starttasimme bändin kesällä 2004. Kolme kuukautta sen jälkeen julkaisimme jo ensimmäisen demon.

- Me oltiin vaan kuusi nuorta tyyppiä, jotka halusi soittaa musiikkia vahvalla energialla. Musiikkityylimme kävivät myös hyvin yhteen. Siitä se sitten lähti.

H:
- Mistä bändin nimi sai alkunsa?

B:
- Intohimo tarkoittaa juuri nimenomaan sitä, mistä bändissämme on kyse. ("Intohimo stands for passion, and that's exactly what we are about", toim. huom.). Teemme joka keikalla parhaamme luodaksemme hyvän tunnelman ja kommunikoidaksemme yleisön kanssa.

- Monilla yhtyeillä on englanninkieliset nimet ja me halusimme valita nimen, joka eroaa massasta. Intohimo tuntui nimenä erityiseltä ja sillä on loistava merkitys.

H:
- Kuvailkaa vielä loppuun Intohimon musiikkia.

B:
- Se on tarttuvaa, raskasta ja siitä välittyy huikea tunnelma.
