We are HEEALS a Non-Profit /NGO organization .Since 2010, we are working in water sanitation hygiene ,menstrual hygiene ,health,education,environment and livelihood project .We are working in COVID Relief Aid Program. As a grassroot organization ,we need volunteers who help us in our Children Digital Education Program .
Education is fundamental right of every children . Still many children are not able to go to school .Covid Pandemic make it worse for children who belong to marginalized and live below poverty line . Covid Pandemic create a Digital Divide between children who come from afflunet familes and poor families . We at HEEALS has taken an initiative to bridge the gap between rich children and poor children . Poor children are not able to afford Digital Learning equipment ,as online education becomes the prime source of information in this time . We need volunteers who can help in this project .Digital Education For Children Program . We are in need of a few highly skilled and motivated individuals to help us to raise funds for Digital Education for Children . Currently, we are facing a crisis and we need your urgent help. We understand that everyone is asking for help but Education is something we are all entitled too and when massive chunks of any society are deprived of it can we just stand by and watch? Action must be taken. Our NGO Non-Profit HEEALS is asking that you help us help the children that we so often assist in our education programmes. Right now these same children cannot access education as they are unable to take advantage of any online facilities. Neither do they have the money to pay for a tablet or WIFI costs associated with online learning. US $150 allows us to buy a tablet, the insurance for a year, the WIFI (2gb per day enough for a child's online learning needs) and a protective case. Once this year is over we can then hand the Tablet to another child to benefit from once we find another sponsor for the WIFI and insurance cost. Heeals is a young and dynamic Indian organisation, working hard in local villages to make school a better place to grow for children, and particularly girls.
As you may know, there is a huge lack of sanitation facilities in India. Schools are ill-equiped with safe toilets (particularly girl toilets), and menstrual hygiene is often a taboo.
What's why Heeals is going into schools to share awareness with local children on the importance of safe sanitation and hygiene, and to try to improve sanitation conditions there.
For our new campaign, we need your help to:
- empower children with education and awareness on safe sanitation and hygiene in 45 villages, thanks to drama, painting, poster design, etc... activities!
- start improving sanitation facilities in local schools (starting with 9 villages).
