Misa: "No, cake makes you fat."
L: "I learned you can burn calories by using your brain."
Misa: "Are you calling me stupid? .. Fine. I'll give you the cake if you can leave Light and me alone."
L: "I can't. Even if i could, there would be surveillance cameras watching your every move."
Misa: "Pervert!"
L: "Call me what you want, I'm taking the cake."

I felt those warm drops on my shoulder, and shapeless emotions came welling up inside me. "If only I could stay together with him forever." "If only I could become someone special to him." Thoughts like that went through my head, and I stood there, unable to take my hand away and let him go.
