Once I was a little boy,
My life was full of laugh and joy.
When did i grow up?
When did all the playing stop?
My mother sed I was Her little man,
I smiled at Her an way I ran.
She taught me evening prays and values,
Even how to tie my shoes.
Summer days of grassy feet,
By the river an friend I'll meet.
Now She's older and im a man.
But i still rememer how she sang.
My little man i see you growing.
Your the one I'll always be loving.
