The first words I said to Dave when he told me the news was, 'Please tell me it's not Leonie!!!'. Well it was you my dear friend, it was you.
Why? was the first thought, then came the overwhelming sadness. How could a person with so much energy and happiness and everything positive you can imagine, be gone. Forever.
It feels like yesterday when I amongst the other people who made such tight bonds, were doing all the crazy stuff you can think of. Remember the day when we had a lunch break at Allan's and went to swim in that dam with our clothes on.. We laughed so much we almost drowned ourselves. And the endless nights at the campfire where we got smashed and just sang, danced and played guitar until we got told off. And yeah, who's going to roll my ciggies now?!!
The last time when I saw you, was in Brisbane and everything was allright. What happened after that?? Well I can tell you that you gave me so much. You taught me things that I had to learn and I will be forever grateful to you. Thank you for everything, for our friendship, for the laughs, the talks, the advices, the fun times and the serious times. It was all good. I'll never forget.
I wish you'd have had more time.... I guess you did all you had to do here and now you've started another adventure somewhere there. You'll be fine. As for me, I'll regret forever that I didn't send you that e-mail.
