Day 26 - Your favourite SPN fanvid

I don't watch fan-made videos all that much, 'cause usually they're just terrible. It's a pain in the ass trying to find the good ones amongst the ones that are just shittily made. However, I do have two vids that I seriously love:


1. Castiel The Motion Picture - Official Trailer

This one's so well made you gotta watch it to believe it. If I remember correctly, this girl (badhalo) did the video with her boyfriend, who are both studying filmmaking.

It's a trailer for Castiel's own movie. Made me sad that it's only a fan-made one, 'cause I would love to see this film for real.


2. Like You Never Had Wings

Summary: When an angel falls, it's impossible to know when they'll crash.

This video shows us the first steps of Castiel's drug abuse (the story's linked to Croatoan!Verse from the episode The End). The song playing is Deftones' Change (In the House of Flies), and I really much like Deftones' music and that song especially is fucking amazing. And the clips with the pill bottles are taken from House M.D., and I totally approve of House.

Day 25 - Something that you wish happened but didn't

Castiel trying out those pizza delivery man moves on Dean (I got a one track-mind, I know).

And if the show had not been continued to 6th season, I would've loved it if Sam and Dean had both died at the end of season 5 in some really epic, tragic, heart breaking way, the episode coming to a close with "Stairway to Heaven" blasting away (because Led Zeppelin is Dean's favourite band, but 'cause the usage of their songs cost so much, they've never played any on the show. I figured they could go a little over the budget if the whole thing was ending anyway).

On käynyt mielessä, että ehkä olisi jotain huolestumisen aihetta, kun ainut ihminen jonka ajatusmaailmaan ja ideologiaan mä pystyn täysin samaistumaan on rocktähti, joka oli itsetuhoinen, alkoholisoitunut ja syömishäiriöstä kärsivä, ja joka kolmentoista vuoden kadoksissa olemisen jälkeen viimein julistettiin "virallisesti kuolleeksi" vuonna 2008.

Miten tämä poikkeaa itsestäni tai muista tuntemistani ihmisistä? Siten, että Richeyllä oli taito pukea elämä sanoiksi.

Day 24 - An episode you wish never happened

Umh... Let's just say 6th season's first episode, 'cause I would've been quite content if the whole thing had just come to a conclusion during the 5th season.

Also, "Bugs" from season 1 is a really shitty episode too. The ending's just... horrible.

Day 23 - The character that is most like you
I did three "which one are you?" tests: character, bad guy and angel. I choce the angel one's result, 'cause Lucifer's cool.

Day 22 - Your favourite minor character

Dean: "Uh-huh. Okay, and why, exactly would you want the Devil dead?"
Crowley: "It's called survival. But I forgot, you two at best are functional morons."
Dean: "Yeah, you're functioning morons... more." Dean: "Uh, excuse me for asking, but aren't you kinda signing your own death warrant? I mean, what happens to you if we go up against the Devil and lose?"
Crowley: "Number one, he's gonna wipe us all out anyway, two, after you leave here I go on an extended vacation to all points nowhere, and three, HOW ABOUT YOU DON'T MISS, OKAY? MORONS!"

Day 21 - Your favourite character entrance

Holyshitholyshitholyshit!!! *dies from the pure awesomeness*
I was totally blown away by this scene, all that eeriness and the Jen Titus song which is oh-so-perfect and Julian Richings being the very picture of Death with his sunken cheeks and sharply jutting bones that make his face look all skeletal like.

The fifth season was pure epicness already, and then just before the finish line they go and throw in the freakin' Death with the greatest entrances ever. I mean, I thought that Castiel appearing in the warehouse in season four was cool, but this one beats even that.

And on the chills department this scene gets the highest score. Me and my brother were watching this episode right after it was posted on net and we both just sorta froze, staring wide eyed and barely breathing at the screen once the music started playing. After it was over we just looked at each other and went, "Did we really just see that?". And then, naturally, watched the scene many, many more times in a row.

And that fuckin' car. Gotta love the fact that Death rides with style.

Day 20 - Your favourite recap

A freakin' recap? Oh well, I just wrote it in the search box on YouTube on took the first one. It's fan-made. Go watch it.

Usein kun ollaan porukalla viihteellä ja jäädään isommalla lössillä jonkun luokse yöksi, niin meidän suurinta krapulaviihdettä on katsoa TV:stä aamulla musiikkikanavia ja haukkua läpi kaikki videot ja kappaleet (krapula on ainoa hetki jolloin noita videoita voi katsoa, koska aivot on sen verran jumissa että ÄO tuntuu laskeutuneen ihmisten tasolle, jotka oikeasti nauttii paskoista biiseistä), tai vaihtoehtoisesti katsotaan TV7 (a.k.a. "Jesse-TV") ja sieltä tulevia pelottavia lapsille suunnattuja piirrettyjä (kyllä vain, pelottavia. Jos ette tiedä mistä puhun, niin katsokaa joskus joku niistä animaatioista).

Joskus me toki tehdään jotain oikeasti viihdyttävääkin - katsotaan Pingua tai Studio Julmahuvia DVD:ltä - mutta toisinaan on vaan kiva jumittaa sohvalla ja mollata kaikkea.

Tämä vain lyhyenä pohjustuksena, koska mun tekee tällä hetkellä äärettömästi mieli haukkua asioita, jotka ärsyttää mua musiikin saralla. Näitä asioita ovat:


1. Ke$ha. Voi (tähän kohtaan kuuluu kirosana, mutta en keksinyt mitään tarpeeksi vahvaa kuvaamaan inhoani). Mistä tämä.. olento?.. on ryöminyt esille? Miten se on saanut levytettyä mitään? Miten kukaan maksaa rahaa sen levyistä jotka on PELKKÄÄ AUTO-TUNEA? Ja mä en edes uskalla puhua sen ulkonäöstä.

Mutta siis, luulin että tämä otus on vain yhden-surkean-kappaleen -ihme. Koska ensimmäinen asia mitä kuulin sen suusta oli:

"Blah blah blah / Think you'll be gettin' this / Nah nah nah / Not in the back of my car car car."

Se rimmaa sanat "blah", "nah" ja "car" keskenään. BLAH. NAH. CAR. Meni puoli tuntia ennen kuin mun korvat lakkasi vuotamasta verta.
Jos seisot pelkän kynttilän valossa peilin edessä ja sanot kolme kertaa perätysten sanat "blah nah car", niin Ke$ha ryömii peilistä ulos, hieroo suhun viikon vanhaa kompostijätettä ja sylkäisee päällesi happoglitteriä.


2. 3OH!3. Okei, myönnetään, mä en tiedä näistä mitään, en ole koskaan kuullut näiltä musiikkia tai nähnyt kyseisiä "muusikkoja" (oletan niiden olevan miespuolisia), mutta jo pelkästään toi nimi saa mut inhoamaan niitä. Eikä ole väliä millä helvetin sivustolla mä käyn, niin aina jostain pompahtaa silmille toi hämmentävä numero-kirjain-huutomerkki -yhdistelmä.
...Oli pakko Googlettaa kuva. Hipstereitä. Tähän ei varmaan tarvitse lisätä mitään.


3. Duffy. "Well, Well, Well" ei poistu mun päästäni. Voiko narisevampaa, rosoisempaa, nasaalimpaa ääntä edes olla olemassa? Ne jotka kehuu Duffyn "laulutaitoja" on eittämättä samoja, jotka ylisti Amy Winehousen maasta taivaisiin.


4. My Chemical Romance. Mä olen pahoillani. Musta ne on hellyyttäviä jätkiä, ja aina kun luen lehdestä Gerard Wayn haastattelun, niin se vaikuttaa maailman mukavimmalta ihmiseltä. Mä haluaisin pitää niistä, mutta tää Killjoys-juttu on vaan typerä. Huonoa musiikkia, rumat vaatteet ja biiseillä paskoja vierailevia artisteja. Tavallaan pystyn ymmärtämään sen että joihinkin iskostuu tää niiden alter-ego -pelleily, mutta mulla on David Bowie, kameleonttien kuningas, joten mun ei tarvitse sietää mitään halpakopioversioita.

5. Justin Bieber. South Parkissa Cthulhu tappoi tuon oudoilla hiuksilla varustetun inisevän pallonaaman. If only it were the reality... *sigh*

Day 19 - Your favorite SPN song

"The Road So Far" song. I get the good kind of chills every time the last episode from a season starts and this song starts playing at the very beginning. Love it.

But, 'cause this show is so strongly linked to the music it uses on certain scenes, I can't just leave this with that one clip. So, second place goes to REO Speedwagon - Can't Fight This Feeling (Jensen sings, yay!).

And on third place: Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
